shut off your mind and really listen to it.

For 25+ years now my intuition has been pulling me to South Carolina. 25 YEARS! Finally! Finally! Finally…..I am throwing caution to the wind, quitting my job, and letting Jesus take the wheel this time!

My mind body and soul are all tired of fighting against the pull always wishing and hoping I was somewhere by the water. We went down to Folly Beach, SC a few weeks ago. Looked around, mingled, and chatted with the locals. What bliss! Two shifts after returning to work, I found myself battling my anxiety once again. I pondered it for a moment and realized the last time I had felt anxious was before our trip. Not once did I feel anxious…not when our train was delayed 2 hours, not when we couldn’t find a rental car, not when the apartment we wanted was taken the same afternoon we had viewed it, not when my food order came out incorrectly, not when I didn’t know where I was or where I was headed on the beach cruiser I had rented for the duration of the trip. Not a once. Something about that warm beach air and that saltwater that soothes my soul. Certainly, the interactions with the people there were awesome. Everyone is so laid back and upbeat. Before we even left we were calling Folly, home. We are on our way to heading back. We should probably tell the family! LOL

So what I’m trying to tell y’all (that’s me practicing my southern drawl on y’all 😊) ….is to follow your heart. If you find yourself constantly daydreaming, talking, or thinking about a place, a job, an adventure or a hobby….don’t resist it. Take action and go after what makes you happy!! 💫✨🧘🏽‍♀️✨💫
